Dr. Walden is on the Board of Directors and is the Commissioner for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).


In New York, Dr. Walden was an Attending in Plastic Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat and Lenox Hill Hospitals. She held an academic appointment of Clinical Instructor of Surgery (Plastic Surgery) at NYU Langone Medical Center.


Dr. Walden has a highly advanced practice, using state of the art technologies. She uses Vectra, a 3-D imaging technology which visualizes how the patient will look before undergoing procedures. She also is known to use ThermiVa, a temperature-controlled, radio frequency system for vaginal tightening and rejuvenation.

There’s More Than Just A Great Music Scene In Austin: There’s Also Dr. Jennifer Walden

Austin Texas is world famous for its music scene, but it is also host to some of the best plastic surgeons in the country. Though she has only been back in Austin for a few years, Dr. Jennifer Walden has built up a very successful practice at the Westlake Medical Center.


Dr. Walden grew up around hospitals and doctors offices, her mother is a surgical nurse and her father is a dentist. So a medical career seemed to be a perfect fit for Dr. Walden.


She received her Bachelor Degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin. She made it into The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston on a waiting list, but made it to the top of her class. This is where she decided that plastic surgery was her calling. There she received her Medical Doctorate with honors and was voted Salutatorian.


From UT Galveston she accepted an externship at Plastic Surgery Associates in Miami, Florida. From there it was off to New York where she was one of two people accepted for a post-residency aesthetic fellowship at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.


While at Manhattan Dr. Walden perfected her craft while working with her mentor Dr. Sherrell Aston, a plastic surgeon famous all over the globe. After eight years in the Big Apple, Dr. Walden decided to head back to Austin to be near her own family, and start a family of her own.


She now operates out of Westlake Medical Center and specializes in aesthetic surgery. Face, breast, and body are Dr. Waldens main areas of expertise. Dr. Walden is a very active philanthropist in her community, and she is on many aesthetic and plastic surgery boards.
