If you are interested in chocolate and is vegan, this video with Markus Rothkranz is for you. He’s been making chocolate for 10 years so listen up. Take a look and try out his non-baking, non-cook, and non-dairy chocolate, and watch him make chocolate covered strawberries and marzipan. I assure you that it is well worth the try, especially for you chocolate lovers. These healthy versions of these delicacies are for all who loves making things without a lot of effort.
All ingredients used for these wonderful snacks are all natural. He uses cacao and carob powder, maple syrup, cashew butter, coconut oil, and vanilla to make his chocolate. By grating the cacao powder he easily gets rid of any lumps and clumps, leaving nothing but smooth chocolate after all other ingredients are mixed in with a wooden spoon. Proceeding to the chocolate covered strawberries, he brings out some organic strawberries to cover. Briefly, he goes over how and what you can do to substitute for not buying organic by soaking them in hydrogen peroxide and water mix, but not for long!
It doesn’t take long for the chocolate to harden, so he moves on to create his vegan marzipan. You take some almonds, maple syrup, and mix them together in a food processor. Next all you have to do is roll it together in a ball as if it’s dough, place it on top of the chocolate that’s in a paper baking cup, and presto! You’re just one step away from your marzipan being complete. The last step is to only….refrigerate! Do not leave in for over 30 minutes, and just in no time your vegan chocolate covered strawberries and marzipan are complete. You can now enjoy these treats every day because lets face it. Who doesn’t love chocolate?
